Risk and safety assessments for steelwork begin at the design stages of larger projects. The use of 3D modelling allows us to analyse the safety of the build, and assess where there could be any issues regarding the safety of those on site. Using these, we perform trial assemblies where essential, allow us to establish the best methods of safe erection on site.
On site, our contractors have all necessary qualifications and training, with regular refreshers as a reminder. Where hazards, such as working and welding in confined spaces are involved, an appropriate risk assessment is undertaken, with trial works if appropriate, and all necessary precautions and arrangements are put in place to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all staff
